About Us
Our mission is to provide possibilities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
philosophy
Possibility Place is a private pay, non-profit organization created to serve adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
We provide a unique environment that focuses on the participant's strengths and needs and we create an individualized program for each participant based on that focus.
We believe that with focused teaching in small groups, great love, and an encouraging environment, our adults can make great strides toward independence.

history
In 2014 Possibility Place was founded at Riverdale Baptist Church with just seven participants. A community car wash raised $500, providing the seed money to start our program. As our program expanded, Possibility Place moved to Experience Church in 2017, continuing to serve more adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In the fall of 2023, Possibility Place found a new home at First Baptist Church, where we now serve 48 adults, continuing our mission of inclusion and support for adults with IDD.
